Concealed in a picturesque man-made
palm forest consisting of over 40
different species of ornamental
palms collected from all over the
world, Bamburi Beach Resort on the North Coast of
Mombasa (Kenya) is set on a
white sandy beach lined by palm
trees, with the sea an
incredible blend of turquoise blue
and emerald green. The resort is 24 Km from Moi International
Airport and 12 Km from Mombasa city off
the Mombasa-Malindi highway.
Architecture and General Setting
Bamburi Beach Resort's architecture
is inspired by distinctive African design; open plan cottages under
a palm thatch roof, unique slate stone floors and rough chunky wood and
natural fabrics which blend perfectly with the charm of the ornamental palm forest,
making the property to be in perfect harmony with its
environment thereby affording it's visitors an unbounded blend of both beach niceties
and safari adventure spirit.
